Day 2 of studies

However we didn`t study that much today, it was probably one of the toughest days. And only because we had to make decisions, work by ourselves and in groups, and the hardest part - sign up volunteeringly for extra work. :) Also the class work wasn`t easy - finding the neccessary information on Internet, that you have never befor looked for, is like looking for a needle in pile of hay. But hard work makes you only stronger and team members - closer. There is also one feature that is unique for us in this course - we are the only group whos language of communication is Russian. Never give away a chance to practice foreign languages! Amen! :)

What?
I already wrote it!

So what?
Great experince creating educational blogs. I can use it! Maybe I will... For sure!! :)

Now what?
Spending more time on Internet will deffinately change the way I see it. I am digital immigrant, so I will never fully trust it. Besides, I LOVE BOOKS!!! But to make the educational process more interesting and exciting, I have to be a friend of Internet.
Yesterday I became depressed that I must be the one, who will help books to extinct, but then the revelation came over me - we can actually help books to revive, and not as digital texts, but as real pieces of paper and carton, and smell, and colours, and that speacial feeling of opening a book for the first time. We can do it in a simple way - making excercises for kids and students, where they must use both - Internet and book. I love it!!

I like my course! I finished my studies two years ago, I have done lots of fun things since then (like working as teacher or being a volunteer) but I still miss the process of learning and exploring. Thank you ISUM!!! :):):)

I think (correct is I hope) there will come a day when the Internet will be out of date as all the fashionable gadgets and things human has created so far... It is like chocolate - the more you eat it, the more you like it but there comes a day when you just get sick of it and need something salty like the old good books...

Hope, my child! ;)

We are the generation, which grove up with books, thats why after hours and days in Internet, opening a book is like a moment of relaxing. Kids, who grow up now, usualy have opened only school books, and thats not the most fun thing to read, so my fear is that they will not use books as way to rest. But once again - when it comes to kids, there is so much that depends on their parients. I think, most of the people don`t realise, how big responsibility lies on them. When you start to work with children, a totaly new Worls opens for you...
